There has never been anything
like our Sponsorship Network or our Fighter Support Ad System.
We have spent the last 12 months designing two
FREE systems. Our Sponsorship Network is designed to
help sponsors and fighters find each other. The other Free
system is Fighter Support Ads. These Ads are designed to encourage companies to sponsor fighters by
rewarding them with ad space.
For people
that are born nobody and fight to be somebody. Their lives
are a Factory of Pain. When you
wear TPF clothing, you aren't just wearing an
MMA
shirt, you are wearing a shirt that represents your
life. What takes you "From The Cradle to The Cage."
I met Dan at
the first stop on our MMA Road Trip. I wanted to give people a
chance to get to know Dan Barrera. I feel that he has been
getting bad wrap.
While at the Bodog - Hook N
Shoot in Evansville, Indiana, I got a chance to hang out with
Dan. He is truly one of a kind and a nice guy. Dan's next fight
will be against Courtney Ray. This promises to be a war.
Courtney has
been on a roll. In his last 7 pro fights, he is 6-1. Courtney,
who is mostly known for his ko power, is developing a very
dangerous ground game. We got to spend some time with Courtney
after his 20 sec armbar defeat of Roy Timmons.
John has served notice by recently winning an 8 man
tournament (all first round stoppages) for the Hook N Shoot
185 lb. title and a contract to fight for Bodog. We got to
congratulate John on his performance in this post fight
interview.
Our MMA Road Trip is an
adventure to show the past of MMA in America and the
MMA people less known. Most people have no idea what life
was like for guys who loved the sport before MMA became popular. Some guys
worked 2 jobs to keep their schools open; others trained
in garages, living rooms, or a "Chicken Coop." Most of
the guys who have had the love and passion to stick with it
for the past 15 years, are now training the next generation
of MMA Stars. I believe it is important that their
stories be told, so check out our MMA Road Trip and
discover the colorful stories behind some of the guys
that have been around.
MMA
Road Trip Stop 3:
Derby City Martial Arts/LouisvilleMMA Fight Team
Talk about
crazy, a big part of what DCMA has
developed into, started in a chicken coop back in 95'.
DCMA is home to Jason "Y" and the LouisvilleMMA Fight team.
(Video coming soon) Check the video out to see what a chicken
coop and the biggest MMA team in Louisville have in common.
Eric Myers is
a lifelong Martial Artist and world class coach. It has been a
long road for Eric over the past 29 years. With the explosion of MMA, guys like Eric are starting to see their persistence and
passion pay off. This is a good place to start learning about
what it was like for guys before MMA was popular.
CycloneMMA is
home to Dan Barrera and trainer Jason "Blind Fury" Keaton.
Jason is a legally blind BJJ Black Belt, Professional Cage
Fighter, and a level 4 Modern Army Combatants Instructor. He is a
truly inspirational person.
ThePainFactory hooks MMA
fighters up with sponsors. Our line of clothing helps us
keep this a free service. When you purchase TPF
clothing, you are helping us do what we love to do: find
sponsors for fighters. As we add more features to the
site, the primary purpose remains the same: getting
people sponsored. We just added an MMA Forum.
Other features will be following in the next few
weeks. The more popular we make the site, the more
sponsors we can draw to work with us. There are
thousands of fighters out there that desperately need
sponsors. If you know of someone, we would love to try
to help them. You can help us by spreading the word. If you
have time, check out some of our clothing.
