Are you looking for an event to get in or advice about promoters. Give me a better idea of what you are asking and I will do my best to help. Number one rule for starting out is DON'T GET IN A HURRY!!! Don't agree to fight just because there is an offer. Everyone needs to fight guys on the same level as them starting out. This is how you get better. Don't get pushed into a fight you shouldn't take. There is no shame in not taking a fight until you are ready.

I had to learn the hard way. Try to learn as much as you can about someone before you agree to take a fight. Mainly try to learn as much as you can about the promoter. There are good ones and bad ones. Having a good trainer/manager is very important. They can set your fights up for you and have your best interests in mind. Here are some situations to try and avoid: not knowing your opponent ahead of time, don't get punked into fighting someone that didn't make weight, and make sure the promoter has insurance. Good luck and have fun.
