The following are some quotes from an interview with Fedor Emelianenko at the Yarennoka press conference:

"I respect [Randy Couture] very much, and it's going to be a great honor to fight with him. I would also like to wait for that opportunity."

When asked if he thinks the fight will ever materialize, Fedor responded:

"Yes, I think so. The fight will take place."

The terminator has spoken.

I'm fairly sure we will see this fight. October or so. I see this as a huge mistake on Zuffa's behalf.

If Randy were to win what is there left for him to do in this sport? And if he doesn't win does that mean he was stupid for not stopping while he was on top?

If he doesn't win people will think he was stupid for not quiting, but Randy seem like one of those guys who just "Has" to know.

Randy has had some amazing fights but over all his record isn't that good. I do not see a way out for him in this fight. Every fight he as had that has been a "Shocker" I have seen how Randy's style could over come. This isn't the case with Fedor. Everything Randy does plays into Fedro's style.

I'm a big Randy fan and very happy he took this fight for the sport, but don't think he can win it.

yeah but fedor has fought anyone on top in a while. i think i will give randy the benifit of the doubt on this one. no i do think couture will have to know and if he does not chase this fight it wont happen so what does that say???

why all the captial letters and full stops? we can read normal letters you know

yeah the longer it takes this fight to happen the less chance randy has.
