ok so this was mentioned at an MMA event by a fighter..when things go to a stale mate on the ground..they stand them up. his suggestion being if things arnt progrssing in stand-up, can the fight be put on the ground. makes sense? obviuosly #1 problem being theres no neutral position on the ground right?

maybe on the knees like BJJ not a good idea i think because you have guys like travis lutter who would run away to go to the ground.
