I'll cheer for Randy and pray he doesn't get hurt
I just don't see Randy beating Lesnor. Lesnor is way to strong for Randy to GnP. If Randy get Top position Lesnor is big enough to just get up. Lesnor's stand up looked pretty good last fight too. Randy, though, would not have considered this fight if he didn't think he knew how to beat him.
Part of me wonders if Randy is dodging Fedor. Back when the UFC tried to sign Fedor one of the sticking points was his competing outside of the UFC in Russia. Back when this was going down I was fortunate enough to speak with someone around the negotiations. They had the impression that Fedor would choose competing in CS in Russia over MMA if it came down to it. The UFC made it clear during the negotiations that the would not compromise on fighting in Russia. Who knows though more then likely there is already a back door deal to get Fedor in the UFC once his contract is up.
Randy is headed back to the UFC to Face Lesnor for the UFC title. Am I the only one shaking his head wondering WTF?? Looks like Nog is to face Mir then the winner of both will face off for the unified title.
