If your either VERY flexible, or if your very long, than its a great guard. luckily, i'm very long, so i can use it to some decent effect. I have no formal teaching of it other than videos i've watched, but I can use it quite effectively against experienced guys who are smaller, and bigger guys who are less experienced. so, i'm hoping at some point to get some formal instruction on it.

check out sean bollinger from 10th planet. he's got a lot of vids on youtube. he's a master at rubber guard.
