This video shows is a good example of what Ultimate Fighting is up against. The lady's only argument against it is, she thinks its wrong. Our sport makes her "sick" They also ask if Ultimate Fighting is "too violent for Tv". The story is from a news program, have they every watch their own shit?? If you want to see real violence, watch the news.

This is the stuff that makes me sick, it seems like at least once a month these news companys find one topic to pick on. Whether it be violence on tv or video games or now cage fighting. They show the war in Iraq, gang shootings, car crashs all the time. I think you have more of a chance of getting hurt in the NFL. Look at all the careers of superstars, that get hurt in their first years and have to retire. All I can say is pick on another sport.

Pretty much agree with everything. Most people are raised with the idea that fighting is bad. This is true about uncontrolled fighting such as: parking lots, school kids, ect. It is easy for people expand that concept to include Ultimate Fighting. One can look at boxing and clearly see the difference from a real fight. When an uneducated eye see Ultimate Fighting, the differences are harder to see.

My 9 year old goes to the Hook n Shoot fights at Evansville, In and makes church every Sunday morning.

If this was the bloodbath and cockfight that the critics have tried to paint this up to be... we would not be there.

As a point karate fighter, he understands this (MMA) is structured fighting with rules and referees that promote exceptional athletes with good skills for fun and entertainment.

He is currently 25-19 in sparring and is small for his age... often in age brackets he is fighting guys a whole head taller than him and 25+ pounds more than him.

It's cool to watch him walk out there and get his 3rd, 2nd and a couple of 1st Place Trophies with two guys standing beside him that are 6 or 8 inches taller than he is.

I have heard there are less severe, lasting injuries in MMA than Boxing? Don't know if
that's true.

That lady should be on are you smarter than a 5 year old!

People just try to find things to complain about. The same kind of people that poke and prod at you until you respond negatively and then go and complain about you.

MMA is not for everyone. I accept that. It's about time people started accepting it's not for them and move one. MMA is not going away. If you don't like it change the channel. This lady obviously is PMSing. Shes loosing more blood then Eastman after Belfort's knee.
